Eagle's Trace Opens Galveston Crossing

July 23, 2018

Houston, Texas—The first residents are moving into Galveston Crossing, the new independent living building opened in July at Eagle's Trace.

Galveston Crossing features 118 residences with nine new floor plans in addition to the most popular styles already enjoyed by residents throughout Eagle's Trace.  Lakeside views are prominent on several sides.

"We are excited to meet the demand for the engaged lifestyle and amenities unique to Eagle's Trace," stated Pam Burgeson, Director of Sales at the Erickson Living retirement community.  "The response to Galveston Crossing has been incredible.  Apartment homes have reserved quickly, and customers are impressed when they walk through our models and take virtual tours of floor plans with ample open space."

Notably, Galveston Crossing features Lafitte's Pub, serving lunch and dinner fare that is a hub of social activity.

"Residents are taking advantage of our signature dining initiative that features a cooked-to-taste restaurant experience," described Ms. Burgeson.  "Additional venues mean even more opportunities to have a delicious meal with the company of family and friends."

To celebrate its opening, the community hosted a baseball-themed All Star Game viewing party and a beer-tasting event sponsored by the Saint Arnold Brewing Company in July.

"On both occasions, residents had a great experience," noted Ms. Burgeson.  "Lafitte's is the perfect setting to relax before dinner or watch a sporting event."

Residents also have access to a new grand living room with a two-sided fireplace and an additional card room for meetings and social events.

"Customer input was a key element when we designed Amarillo Terrace, a residence we opened in 2016, and we did the same with Galveston Crossing," stated Ms. Burgeson.

She stressed the popularity of the custom interior opportunities conveniently found on campus.

"It's exciting to see our customers create their dream homes at Eagle's Trace, choosing from a selection of flooring, paint, custom closet options, plantation shutters and more," said Ms. Burgeson.  "Our interiors coordinator can help you choose from a variety of options to personalize your space."
