Highland Springs Residents, Employees Give Back to Local Community

October 4, 2018

Dallas, Texas--Highland Springs, an Erickson Living retirement community in North Dallas, was the top fundraising team in Collin County at this year's Grandscape Walk to End Alzheimer's with more than $25,000 contributed.  The event was held on Saturday, September 29.

"We participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's to support the valuable services and important life-changing research performed by the Alzheimer's Association," stated Heather Ancheta, Manager of the memory care neighborhood at Highland Springs.  "Most of us know a loved one or caregiver affected by the disease.  In their honor, our residents and employees walk for them."

Each year, Highland Springs also holds a Walk to End Alzheimer's,  providing residents and employees the opportunity to participate right on its campus in North Dallas.  This year's campus walk took place on Wednesday, September 26 in Fountain View, the continuing care neighborhood.

More information can be found at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s website.
